Frequently Asked Questions
We work with small businesses, corporations, nonprofits, public figures, artists and entrepreneurs all across the United States.
We’re consistently humbled by the amazing opportunities we have to work with some of the most brilliant minds in business and art.
This varies depending on the size and scope of the project. The average project costs between $1,500 – $3,500 depending on the complexity and what is involved.
$1,500 is for a “simple” 1-3 page website.
$2,500 is our average quote.
$3,500 is for more complex sites.
We almost always quote a flat per-project fee and do everything in our power to stay away from hourly-billed work.
Our standard turn-around time from signed contract to fully-functioning website preview is 1-2 weeks. And then there may be a week or so of back-and-forth edits. If we started today, your website should be able to be launched in 2-4 weeks.
All of our websites are built on WordPress. This allows you complete control over the website content after go-live.
You’ll be able to add or edit text, photos, videos, blog posts, and other types of content as often as you’d like.
If there is a change you’d like to make to the overall style or structure of the website, we’re always happy to help as that usually involves changes to the website’s code.
No one wants to be roped into longterm, expensive, monthly “maintenance” contracts. And that’s not the way we want to do business.
We’ll teach you how to use WordPress and strongly encourage clients to keep the WordPress Core and Plugins up-to-date. It’s as easy as clicking “update.”
This keeps your website secure, stable, and fast.
We also encourage clients to maintain regular backups of their website. There are plugins like UpdraftPlus that will do this for you automatically on a set schedule.
Alternatively, your web host may offer this as a service at an affordable fee.
It’s cheaper to pay for a monthly backup service than it is to pay someone to rebuild your hacked or broken website.
We know a lot about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and build all of our sites to be “Google-friendly.” Out of the box, your website will be optimized for SEO and should be easily found on Google.
A lot of this comes down to things like proper coding, good website content, mobile-friendliness, site speed, and patience. Your site will climb the Google page rank over time.
